I have had the pleasure of working with the Bobbies Scheme while supporting a patient and quickly formed a strong working relationship with one of their workers. Since then, I have sought their help on other projects, and each time, I have been impressed by the dignity, care, and compassion they show to everyone they come into contact with—truly second to none.

Beyond their frontline work, they have offered training at times that suit us rather than themselves, demonstrating their commitment and flexibility. I cannot speak highly enough of this team. They are always accessible, always willing to pick up the phone, and always ready to offer guidance.

As a social prescriber, I work with many vulnerable people, from those struggling with hoarding to those with severe mental health challenges. The Bobbies Scheme consistently approaches these situations with compassion, provides valuable feedback, and does everything they can to improve the lives of those they support. Their dedication is exceptional, and I will continue to call on them whenever I can.

I just want to pass on my thanks to your organisation for coming out to my property so quickly, and putting safety measures in place to help me feel more secure, your service is amazing Colin was so supportive and understanding, the service does far more than just securing your home it gives such good advice on how to protect yourself on line/phone and also from fire. One of the tips I was given was to take photos of your jewellery for insurance purposes I didn’t think I had much jewellery but was amazed when I put it all together for a photograph I’d forgotten what I did have!
Once again thank you so much, feeling safer in your own home is so important and thanks to your organisation that is exactly how I feel!

Elderly, but vitally active until a  couple of years ago, when a serious road accident cause us to become disabled, we were very much in need of help and advice on many fronts including and paramount, safety and security.  I contacted the Bobby Scheme.

The Bobby Scheme crime prevention advisors and security specialists encompass the character of the time-honoured bobbies of our past and the unsung heroes of today.  The bobby who visited us initially and who still come to our aid, is nothing short of amazing!  As is the colleague who assists him.  They have given us brilliant advice and assistance on all things relevant to our safety,, not just on burglaries and alarm systems – but on everything else, from scams to smoke alarms, and from reputable to rogue traders.

Today’s world has no need to be frightening for vulnerable elderly while the Bobby Scheme exists.  We shall be be forever indebted to it for the very lovely, friendly and invaluable help provided by ‘our’ bobby AND those who assist him and who administer the Cambridgeshire Scheme.

we are of a mind to recommend them to the King for his Honours list.

I am VERY sorry to be so rude not to have thanked you much earlier. Alas, I have been in a lot of pain recently and unable to get out to post a letter. This does not mean 1 ¹ m not extremely grateful for everything you have done for me.

There is no better example of “going the extra mile” than the help and generosity I have received. I am especially thankful for:

Co-ordinator Jo Robinson – always kind & helpful and willing to adapt to my having to use sms text messages to communicate,

Bobby Jon Morris – perfect balance between being professional and being friendly and informal. I found his advice regarding reporting to the police how I fell for doorstep con very helpful and wise. It was a wonderful surprise to find that Bobbies can supply and fit smoke alarms as well as keysafes.

Trust Manager – overwhelmingly kind offer for Bobbies to clear the out-of-control overgrowth of my garden and the generosity of doing so without charges

Bobby Colin – for, with Jon, working so hard and doing such a good job in the garden.

WOW! What a wonderful surprise gift, I couldn’t quite believe it when I first saw it – the family food box, just for me. It came at exactly the right time as there was a bit of hiccup with my Wiltshire meals deliveries and the goodies in the box really helped fill the gap.

Jon time and effort spent searching for a replacement for my broken minicom, especially as textphones are so rare nowadays.

Manager for ordering it for me. l ⁱ d never have been able to any of this myself and it is not an exaggeration to say that when I had a minicom it was lifechanging.

Thank you also for always being there with the help and advice you offer, It gives me great peace of mind to know that there are people I can trust whenever f need any of the services you provide.

Good Morning

Thank you very much for the excellent service from your Admin team and Jon Morris, which has been given to my elderly parents.

Jon visited them yesterday at their home in March, he was professional, sincere and gave them the reassurance and guidance to stay safe in their own home.

Dad is 91 years old and Mum is 83 and they both have medical conditions, their safety is paramount, and we really appreciate the help received from your scheme.
