Book Us
Book us to talk at your event.
To raise the awareness and profile of the charity we give talks to many groups across the county who have requested a visit, as well as attended community events. We will be more than happy to give an informed and interesting talk for your community event covering how to keep safe at home, when out & about or when online.
We are happy to attend a drop-in session for small groups. A small, voluntary donation would be appreciated. Or for a more structured event, we ask for a £35 donation for a daytime talk or £50 for an evening talk. (These costs are purely to cover staff and travel expenses). Contact us to check availability.

Upcoming Events
Our events bring people together across Cambridgeshire to share advice, tips, and tools for feeling safe at home and in the community. From friendly talks with local groups to hands‑on demonstrations of security products, every event is about making life safer, easier, and more reassuring for older and vulnerable residents. You can also help by organising your own fundraising event to support The Bobby Scheme — and we’ll make it simple by providing posters and promotional materials to get you started. Together, we can spread the word, raise vital funds, and keep even more people safe and independent in their homes.

The Bobby Scheme birthday celebration event
At The Bobby Scheme Organisation, we believe every birthday deserves to be celebrated. Our mission is simple—bringing people together to create meaningful moments filled with joy, connection, and care. Whether it’s a small gathering or a lively celebration, we work to ensure that no one feels overlooked on their special day. Through the support of our community, volunteers, and partners, we turn ordinary birthdays into unforgettable experiences, spreading smiles and building lasting memories along the way. Because for us, it’s not just about marking another year—it’s about making every person feel valued, seen, and truly celebrated.
Here are a few photos from our 25th birthday celebration, capturing the journey of The Bobby Scheme Organisation—from those who were instrumental in the early days to the incredible people who continue to shape our work today.

Our Thanks
The Bobby Scheme Organisation would like to extend its sincere thanks to the outgoing High Sheriff, Frances Stanley, for the generous award presented to the Bobby Scheme. We are deeply grateful for the support shown to charities and voluntary groups across Cambridgeshire during your term of office from 2025 to 2026. Your commitment has made a lasting and meaningful difference to communities throughout the county.
Welcoming the new High Sheriff
The Bobby Scheme Organisation welcomed the new High Sheriff for 2026–2027, Francis Burkitt, by inviting him to experience a typical Bobby Scheme day. During his visit, he joined the team in travelling across Cambridgeshire, supporting victims, helping to secure their homes, and providing reassurance to help them feel safer in their communities.
